Biodiversity

Biodiversity is the variety and variability of plants, animals, and ecosystems within an area. Value is placed on biological and population diversity, and also the health of these populations. Efforts to conserve biodiversity often consider biological and ecological protection from a systems level, working holistically to improve the health of an area.
