The European Forest Partnership is preparing its first joint call on forest-related research and innovation, and funders, policymakers, researchers, forest owners and managers, industry and civil-society stakeholders from across Europe are invited to give their views on the priorities through a survey.
The survey builds on the work of the European Forest Research and Innovation Ecosystem (EUFORE) and the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for the European forest-based sector, and asks contributors to rank the four main SRIA themes in order of urgency, and identify the most important research topics for the first call within the themes considered most relevant for the responders.
The estimated time to complete is around 20–30 minutes, depending on how many themes you choose to answer.

Responders input will directly inform the focus of the first European Forest Partnership joint call and help ensure it meets the needs of Europe’s forest-based sector and the wider society it serves.
The survey deadline is 16 January 2026 and the first European Forest Partnership joint call is expected to launch in late 2026 (exact timing to be confirmed).
