The FOREST4EU project invites you to an engaging online workshop taking place on 14 May 2025 (10h – 13h CEST). This event, titled “The Future of EIP-AGRI Operational Groups: Challenges, Opportunities and Existing Support Services”, will focus on the development and future direction of Operational Groups (OGs) within the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability. This is a joint initiative organised in collaboration with several other projects, including BBioNets, NUTRI-KNOW, Soil-X-Change and AQUAGRI-KNOW.
This three-hour virtual session will bring together a diverse group of participants, including project teams, farmers, innovation support services, policy experts and OG representatives. Together, they will explore the key factors that support the successful creation and management of Operational Groups across various European regions.
The workshop will present a rich mix of practical tools, first-hand experiences, and expert insights that highlight both the opportunities and the common challenges encountered by OGs, particularly during their preparation and implementation phases. Participants will also learn about the support services available to help overcome these barriers.
A central focus of the session will be on strategies and practical solutions developed by the organising projects to encourage and facilitate the formation of Operational Groups. These shared approaches reflect a strong commitment to agricultural innovation through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
