The EU-funded project FOREST4EU will host an online webinar on 9 May 2025 (11:00 – 12:30 CEST), focusing on the role of women in advancing innovation across rural areas in Europe.
The session will highlight a range of women-led initiatives in sustainable forestry and the bioeconomy. Participants will hear directly from those involved, gaining insight into their professional journeys, the challenges they have faced, and the contributions they are making to more resilient and sustainable rural development.
This event aims to give visibility to often under-represented voices and perspectives in the forestry and bioeconomy sectors and to foster a broader understanding of the diversity of leadership shaping Europe’s green transition.
