The EU ResAlliance project is excited to announce the launch of a series of “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) sessions on the ResAlliance Forum. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading experts in forestry and agroforestry. The sessions will address doubts, explore key topics, and provide expert insights into resilience practices in forestry and agroforestry.
What are AMA sessions?
The AMA sessions are 30-minute, text-based Q&A sessions held on the ResAlliance Forum, where participants can post questions directly to a guest expert. Each session will focus on a specific topic, with the expert responding to questions in real time. After the session, the full exchange will remain available on the forum, serving as a valuable resource for future reference.
First AMA session: expert views on dehesa management
We are kicking off the series with a session featuring Manuel Bertomeu García, a Lecturer at the School of Forestry, Centro Universitario Plasencia (University of Extremadura) and Secretary of the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF).

Manuel brings a wealth of experience in forestry and agroforestry research and development, with a particular focus on reforestation and reclaiming degraded land through agroforestry. His work spans diverse regions, including the Philippines, Laos, and Spain, with expertise in smallholder wood-based agroforestry systems and technical support for farmers managing projects in tropical and Mediterranean climates.
