Looking to address the challenges of climate change in the Mediterranean region, the EU-funded ResAlliance project is launching a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that provides up-to-date knowledge on how climate risks (such as forest fires, droughts, desertification, floods and pests) affect agriculture and forestry. This course is designed for practitioners, students, policy makers and anyone interested in improving environmental resilience.

What will you learn in the course?

The course explores innovative solutions in four key areas: technology, finance, management and governance. Case studies from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Tunisia and Cyprus will be presented during the lessons, which will be delivered by experts from leading European institutions. Participants will be able to learn more about how to improve territorial resilience in the agricultural and forestry sectors in the face of climate change.

Who is this course for?

This MOOC is designed for a broad audience: from professionals in the agriculture and forestry sector, to students, policy makers and anyone interested in sustainability and the environment. Participants will be able to explore practical solutions applicable to different contexts, build a network of experts and learn how to implement concrete actions to address climate challenges.
