The Ye! Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO) is a joint effort of the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the G20 Global Land Initiative and contributions from WIPO, Sidely and Google Startups for Sustainable Development Programme.

This new global programme focuses on sustainable land management and green business solutions, offering an scaled up version of last year’s successful Youth Ecopreneur Awards at WEDF in Mongolia.

The YECO Programme aims to support and nurture the next generation of green entrepreneurs by providing access to essential resources, mentorship, seed capital, and networking opportunities. Participants will embark on a transformative journey, including a Global Bootcamp, an Accelerator, and culminating in the celebrated Youth Ecopreneur Awards. Each phase is carefully designed to advance the most promising ecopreneurs, propelling them towards global recognition and impact.

To be eligible, entrepreneurs must be under 35 years old and promote sustainability, land restoration, circularity, and/or the green economy. The business must be primarily run by a young person.

Benefits of the programme include:

  • Capacity-building for scaling the venture.
