ForestValue was conceived as a European network of public funding organisations supporting and increasing coordination and alignment of national and regional funding programmes on research and innovation related to forest-based bioeconomy to strengthen the European Research Area and to support the European Green Deal.

The first phase of the ForestValue Action (ERA-Net Cofund, Horizon 2020 GA no. 773324) has been running since October 2017 until March 2023, with 30 partners representing different programmes in the bioeconomy funding sector, coming from different regions and countries inside/outside Europe. As mentioned above, ForestValue2 has just kicked-off, and will run from January 2023 until December 2027. For more information, please see Cordis.
