Applications now open for MEDfOR Master programme

Candidates applying for one of the scholarships offered by MEDfOR must submit their application by 15 March 2023

The Erasmus Mundus Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management Master Programme (MEDfOR) is welcoming applications for the academic year 2023/2025.

MEDfOR is a two-year world-class international programme in the field of forestry and sustainability. It is the only master’s programme in Europe that simultaneously addresses the economic, ecological and social challenges of sustainable Mediterranean forestry and natural resources management.

MEDfOR also addresses specific topics in the field of forestry, with particular emphasis on the Mediterranean area such as forest as a unique world heritage, forest management and conservation, and forestry’s role in the welfare of society.

Who can apply?

  • EU candidates or non-EU candidates who have spent more than a total of 12 months in the EU over the last 5 years can apply for a Programme Country Scholarship. Deadline to apply: 15 March 2023
  • Candidates from the Western Balkans Region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro) can apply for a Partner Country Scholarship. Deadline to apply: 15 March 2023
  • All other candidates can apply as self-funded. Deadline to apply: 30 April 2023
