International conference on the adaptation of forests to climate change

Photo:, a Spanish network of universities and research institutes from the whole country working on adaptive silviculture, will host the International Conference on “Adaptation of Forests to Climate Change: Encounters between Science and Technology” (in Spanish Jornada Internacional sobre Adaptación de los Bosques al Cambio Climático: Encuentros entre la Ciencia y la Técnica). The event will place at the Public University of Navarra on 20 October 2022.

During the International Conference, there will be presentations by managers from different autonomous communities, scientists and forest owners. Marcus Lindner, principal scientist at the European Forest Institute’s Resilience Programme, and Linda Nagel, researcher at the University of Utah and coordinator of the project Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change, will participate in the discussion.
