The WildFood project has reached the second year of activity. The time has come to review the work done by the Project partners, the results obtained and foreseen the activities for the next year. Padua University is pleased to announce the 26th and 27th May 2022 will be holding a two-day meeting in Villa Bolasco, Castelfranco Veneto, Italy (a venue close to Padua). These two days aim to be an opportunity for young researchers directly or indirectly involved in the project to present their research and meet all the academic partners included in the consortium.
The policy forum is primarily aimed at Mediterranean, national, regional and local policy makers and key stakeholders involved in wild food value chains (including associations of producers, harvesters, processors, consumer organisations, industries, NGO, Public institutions…).
WILDFOOD is a PRIMA funded project (2020-2023). The overall objective of WildFood is to promote the implementation of joint innovative strategies by involving different actors of the value chains of wild food products in the Mediterranean area, focusing on selected products (mushrooms, truffles, aromatic plants, pine nuts and acorns) in order to improve their quality and safety controls and sustainability.
