Call for abstracts: FORS2D Conference on forestry for sustainable development

On the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 30th anniversary of the PFE “Šume Republike Srpske” AD Sokolac, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), an international scientific conference entitled Forestry Science for Sustainable Development – FORS²D will be held on 29-30 September in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The objectives of the conference can be summarised as follows:

  • Exchange of knowledge and experience in forestry and related scientific fields;
  • To achieve cooperation between institutions on an international level;
  • To improve cooperation in forestry science and practice through the application of modern scientific knowledge;
  • Promoting the objectives of sustainable development of forest resources.

The call for abstracts for this international conference is now open, the topics of which have to address Perspectives of forestry and related sectors as drivers of sustainable development in the post-Covid era. The call will remain open until 30 April 2022.
