The organisers of the 24th European Forum on Urban Forestry (EFUF) invite urban forest practitioners, policy makers, researchers and managers to submit abstracts for the forum entitled “Facing the future: Adaptation measures in urban forests”. The event will take place in Belgrad, Serbia, from 17 – 22 May 2022.

EFUF emphasises the connection of practice and scientific knowledge, encouraging a variety of possible formats to contribute to the conference. The event organisers welcome proposals for oral presentations, poster presentations and non-commercial demonstrations. Abstracts should be no longer than 2,500 characters and should be submitted in English.

Contributions to the 24th European Forum on Urban Forestry will explore these aspects:

  • Theme 1: Adaptive ecological measures in Urban Forests
  • Theme 2: Socio-environmental-economic measures in Urban Forests
  • Theme 3: Planning and governance measures in Urban Forests

The programme committee will determine whether a proposal will be accepted for presentation, considering the significance and/or the innovative character of the contribution. Authors will normally be informed of the acceptance or otherwise of their contribution by the end of February 2022.

Submit your abstract before 1 February 2022!
