The 4th International Forest Policy Meeting (IFPM4) serves as a great opportunity to present research on topics relevant in the context of forest policy and from different academic and geographical perspectives.

The event will take place in Bonn, 27-29 April 2022, and we particularly encourage early-career researchers to take part, follow the call for abstracts and share their expertise! The IFPM4 will be a unique opportunity to present and discuss their work in a supportive, international academic environment.

The event is organised by European Forest Institute’s Governance Programme in collaboration with EFI’s Forest Policy Research Network coordinated by the University of Life Sciences Vienna (BoKu). The biannual event brings together scholars working on forest and forest related policy issues.

The upcoming 4th IFPM will focus on the science-policy and the science-media interfaces in forest policy. The past months have reminded us once more that human health is closely intertwined with the well-being of our environment and further the compelling need of well-informed, science-based discussions.

More info about the abstract submission can be found here. The deadline for submission is November 15th, 2021. The registration for the conference will open in January 2022, accepted submissions will be informed before.

We kindly ask to share this call amongst your networks. Your contributions build the fundament of the International Forest Policy Meeting, that will gather knowledge from across the globe.
