Open research position at RWTH Aachen on simulation of forest operations

The RWTH Aachen University in Germany is initiating the European “innovative training network” Skill-For.Action, in which the university offers a full-time, fully funded research position on the topic of “simulation of forestry operations”. The application deadline for this vacancy is 11 July 2021.

The vacancy offers an opportunity to work in the field of “simulation of forestry machines and operations related to carbon emission”. The research work of this Early Stage Researcher (ESR) is closely related to the work of 11 other ESRs and their institutions in Europe and South Africa.

The main requirement for application is that candidates “have not resided in Germany for more than 12 months in the previous three years”.
