To support the implementation of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, a FAO-led Task Force on Best Practices was established involving a group of 43 global leading organizations in charge of shaping the knowledge component of the UN Decade.

Join the FAO-led Task Force on Tuesday, 1 June 2021, at 16:00 (CEST) for the Launchpad: Disseminating knowledge and developing capacities for the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030: A Task Force on Best Practices.

This session will be the occasion to publicly introduce the key products developed by the task force, including a set of guiding principles for Ecosystem Restoration, the key findings of a global capacity needs assessment, and the framework for collection and dissemination of good practices. The session will be followed by a panel discussion on knowledge dissemination including the perspectives, needs and challenges from various stakeholders involved in ecosystem restoration.
