Regional action towards a circular bioeconomy takes the spotlight at this year’s European Week of Regions and Cities.

Register now to join this interactive online session, organised by EFI’s Bioregions Facility, which will explore the genesis and implementation of transformative roadmaps towards a circular bioeconomy.

Three regional cases share approaches and experiences in overcoming critical barriers to change while an open discussion identifies opportunities and potential synergies from strengthened interregional cooperation.

The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.

This year, the Week spreads over three weeks:
Week 1, 5-11 October: Empowering Citizens – registrations until 1 October.
Week 2, 12-16 October: Cohesion and Cooperation – registrations until 7 October.
Week 3, 19-22 October: Green Europe – registrations until 14 October.
