The first in a series of four thematic webinars focused on “Shaping the Innovation Ecosystem for the Bioeconomy” will be held this Wednesday, 25 March 2020. This week’s webinar will focus on awareness raising, communication, education and stakeholder engagement.

The webinar series is organised by the BBI JU-funded projects LIFT, UrBioFuture, and CELEBIO, in collaboration with BIOVOICES, Biobridges and the European Bioeconomy Network. The rest of the series will span throughout March and April, and aims to provide recommendations and Actionable Knowledge for quadruple helix stakeholders.

The webinars will deliver the main results stemming from an assessment of more than 60 EU-funded projects, and address the following key questions:

  • What are the challenges to be addressed for the creation of an innovation ecosystem for the bioeconomy?
  • What are the main results of the Coordination and Support Actions funded in the last years?
  • What gaps should be bridged?
  • What are the recommendations?
