A November reading not to be missed: EFI’s Mediterranean Network News!

EFI’s Mediterranean Facility shares this November’s news full of contributions from its network, articles of interest, new initiatives from the forest community and an agenda of events for the coming months.

This issue features EFI’s first publication after the event “Resilient Landscapes to face catastrophic Forest fires” summarising the key messages of the conference. It also highlights the latest relevant publications for fire prevention and mitigation as well as post-fire management in Mediterranean forests.  In addition, we inform you about the latest updates on European projects such as SIMRAROSEWOOD or My Sustainable Forest.

To complete this edition, we report on new forest bioeconomy initiatives to combat rural depopulation and congratulate our researcher Sven Wunder, who is among the most cited scientists of 2019.

As ever, this edition includes calls, upcoming events and publications from all over the Mediterranean, as well as items of interest from elsewhere.
