The InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2020, “Integrating sustainability and health in buildings through renewable materials”, which will take place in Koper, Slovenia next March provides a forum to explore renewable materials and their use for creating healthy, sustainable buildings during five thematic sessions:
- Digital solutions in renewable materials
- Enhancing renewable materials with modification
- Developments in renewable material composites
- Advancing human health in the built environment
- Design and engineering solutions for sustainable buildings
The InnoRenew CoE is an independent research institute, formally established in the year 2017 in Izola, Slovenia. The mission of the InnoRenew CoE is to advance the state-of-the-art and achieve scientific and innovation excellence through interdisciplinary science in two key research areas: Wood modification and Restorative environmental and ergonomic design (REED).
The InnoRenew CoE International Conference in March 2020 will be an opportunity to share and discuss emerging science and innovations in renewable materials that can be used in the built environment to enhance human and environmental well-being. Abstracts will be accepted until 4 November 2019 and undergo peer review.
