Agroforestry is the practice of deliberately integrating woody vegetation (trees or shrubs) with crop and/or animal systems to benefit from the resulting ecological and economic interactions. In Europe, agroforestry practices occupy over 20.5 million hectares.

The AFINET Project (Agroforestry Innovation Networks), made up of agroforestry farmers from 9 participating regions, has coordinated a video produced by the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF) in collaboration with the School of Agronomy at the University of Lisbon (ISA), which focuses on the diversity of agroforestry systems across Europe, their characteristics and potential.
