EVOLTREE is organising a Scientific Seminar in Aberdeen, United Kingdom, on 17 September 2019, associated to the annual EVOLTREE Governing Board meeting and the 2019 European Forest Institute’s Annual Conference. The event entitled “Genetic adaptation research for future forests” will explore the ways in which forest tree genetics can be applied to increase local adaptation and resilience in future forests.
The organisation has opened the call for contributions to the event that address a wide variety of topics related to the study of local adaptation in natural forests and applied reproduction and genomics. Papers presenting the theoretical development of genetics and population breeding as well as experimental research are welcome.
Abstracts should be submitted by 25 July 2019 to Claudia Antoniotti (claudia.antoniotti @ efi.int)
