The Forum on Catalan Wildfire Research, held in Barcelona on 6 November 2018, was a space for key regional actors in wildfire management to discuss research, collaboration opportunities, and shared challenges. Open to researchers, practitioners, fire managers, land planners, students, industry, administration and development sectors, the forum aimed to explore and create synergies between these groups to promote more integrated research and funding development.

The Pau Costa Foundation has recently published a platform with all of the PowerPoint presentations that were made during the Forum. These PowerPoints represent an invaluable resource for state-of-the-art wildfire research and could serve to extend the discussion far beyond the Forum itself.
