The 2018 Biocities Forum: Forests Transforming Urban Living invites participants from across sectors to discuss how forests and a circular bioeconomy can offer solutions for sustainable and resilient cities.
Topics range from innovative architectural solutions and vertical forests, to regenerative cities and construction with timber.
Speakers include the urban visionaries: architect, Stefano Boeri (Future City Lab); architectural engineer, Michael Ramage (Light Earth Designs); and sustainable urban development consultant, Herbert Girardet (World Future Council), as well as a mayoral panel with representatives from around Europe.
The Forum is chaired by Göran Persson (Prime Minister of Sweden, 1996-2006) and moderated by James Astill (Lexington Columnist of the Economist).
